Port Tampa Bay and freight work
Port Tampa Bay supports container, bulk, general, and refrigerated cargo. Drivers moving freight and workers in nearby distribution operations may have different drug and alcohol testing requirements depending on their duties.
A CDL driver operating under FMCSA rules may need the FMCSA SAP and Clearinghouse process after a DOT violation. A warehouse employee, terminal worker, or person holding a TWIC card is not automatically covered by the same rules solely because they work at the port. Ask your employer which testing authority applies.
Hillsborough County and nearby routes
We welcome inquiries from Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Temple Terrace, and Plant City, including drivers whose work takes them along I-4 and I-75. We list these communities as service areas, not additional office locations.
Keep the process practical
- Confirm the appointment format before planning travel or time off.
- Ask education or treatment providers about schedules and separate fees.
- Keep completion documents available for the follow-up evaluation.
- Coordinate testing with your employer; a walk-in personal test may not satisfy the required return-to-duty test.
